Last week, we chilled out with random board games and other activities. Just a nice way to end the long weekend.
Well, this week, get ready to heat it up, cause we are doing QUIDDITCH. We'll be "flying" on brooms, trying to get the Quaffle in the goals, hitting bludgers at one another, and trying to kill each other. Yep, all that fun stuff.
We will need your help. Unfortunately, we don't have any good brooms, and it's hard finding a PE teacher willing to lend out tennis racket "brooms". If anyone has any brooms they could bring in, or has a good connection to a PE teacher (I'm looking at you guys freshmen and sophomores) and can ask them to borrow tennis rackets, that would be greatly appreciated.
For anyone who want to learn how to play ahead of time, here's the general wikipedia link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quidditch
We may change the rules a little.
GIRLS, DON'T WEAR DRESSES OR SKIRTS (I'M LOOKING AT YOU, CATHERINE) Seriously, you will not want to be running in dresses or skirts.
We will probably meet in the room first and then move outside to play. Stay tuned for updates.
Finally, for last weeks bonus question, "Who is the greatest wizard/witch?", Lisa responded first, and she said, "Hermione Granger is the best witch cause her parents are muggles that are dentists. She has beautiful and straight teeth plus awesome hair. She is one of the smartest people out of Hogwarts. SMART. She has bad taste in guys though... I thought she was going to end up with Harry when I was younger. Yeah. BASICALLY HERMIONE IS THE BEST WITCH OUT OF WITCHERY WORLD." and got 5 points for Gryffindor.
See y'all then,
P.S. This weeks 3 Bonus Points are for: the first person who lists all the Weasley children(Molly's and Arthur's) in descending age order (twins are interchangeable)
