Hello fellow Lowellites! Whether you're a freshman, sophomore, junior, or even a senior it's never too late to join our Fil-Amily!
The Filipino-American Club, commonly referred to as the Fil-Am Club, is unlike any other club at Lowell. Every person you meet is a part of your family, a component prevalent to Filipino culture. It's the best place to make friends and create memories.
As the name of the club states, Fil-Am Club does not only express Filipino culture, but also American culture. We explore how two cultures merge into one, the Filipino-American culture, by examining the lives of Filipinos living in the United States.
Once a week, we meet to socialize, play games, eat delicious food, learn Tagalog, sing, and dance, along with other activities.
In the spring semester, members of the club begin preparing for our annual assembly. As a club, we participate in Multicultural Night, an evening showing various cultures like the Filipino culture through song, dance, and stroytelling.
For current members, you're in for new activities and loads of fun this year!
For new members, we can't wait to meet you! Fil-Am is not just another club at Lowell, the people you meet there become your family: your Fil-Amily.
